You can recalculate the PIN code of your card from your personal BMCE Direct account or by contacting the "Direct Line" at 080 100 8100 (from Morocco) or +212 5 22 42 15 42 (from abroad) from 08:00 to 22:00, 7/7. You can also request it from your Advisor at the branch. A temporary PIN will be sent to you by SMS, which you will be asked to change at one of the BANK OF AFRICA ATMs.

How do I report my bank card as lost or stolen?

In case of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of your card, you can report it 24/7 from your personal BMCE Direct account or by contacting the Customer Relationship Center at 080 100 8100 7/7, from 08:00 to 22:00. Then, make a report at the police station and go to your branch within 48 hours to confirm your opposition request, with your report of loss or theft of your bank card.

What is contactless payment?

Contactless payment allows you to quickly pay for purchases of amounts less than or equal to 600 Dhs by simply approaching your card to the payment terminal. With equipped merchants, you no longer need to enter your PIN. You can make contactless purchases for a maximum amount of 600 dhs per transaction without entering your PIN, up to a limit of 3 transactions per day.

If you wish to quickly send money to a customer or non-customer of BANK OF AFRICA, you can initiate a cash availability through your branch or remotely via your online space BMCE Direct.
Cash availability is a transaction in which you make a sum of money available to the beneficiary by debiting your account, which they can collect from any BANK OF AFRICA branch upon presentation of their identification document (ID card for Moroccans and registration card for foreigners residing in Morocco).

I have made a transfer, when will it be executed?

• If you make a transfer through your branch or via BMCE Direct to a beneficiary who is a BANK OF AFRICA client, their account will be credited instantly.
• If you make a transfer through your branch or via BMCE Direct to a beneficiary who is a client of another bank, their account will be credited on the second business day following the transfer.

I have deposited a check for collection into my account, what is the processing time?

The processing time for your deposit will vary depending on the nature of the check:
● If it is a BANK OF AFRICA check, the transaction will be recorded in your account on the first business day following the day of deposit.
● If it is a check from another bank, the transaction will be recorded in your account on the second business day following the day of deposit.
