Oppening an account online

You just need to choose the offer that suits you, complete the online form and attach your supporting documents, select the agency of your choice, make an initial payment (optional), and submit your application. After your documents are verified, an email containing the bank account details and the login credentials for your personal online banking space "BMCE Direct" will be sent to you.

To open an online bank account, you only need to be a resident in Morocco, or a Moroccan living abroad; and be over 18 years old.

You can view and manage your account 24/7 by logging into your personal space on the BMCE Direct e-banking portal, available on the web and mobile, or on the downloadable mobile application of the same name. Simply enter your username and the password provided by email.

Different package options are offered depending on your profile and needs. These packages are offered at very favorable conditions exclusively for clients who open their account online. They allow you to benefit from the essential banking products at a single, flat-rate pricing.

The first payment (optional) can be made when opening an online account. Your remotely opened account is a standard bank account, it will operate in the same way as an account opened at a branch, with the possibility of making deposits at any BANK OF AFRICA branch or at ATMs offering this service. You can also receive transfers to this online account.

Whether you are a resident in Morocco or a Moroccan living abroad, making a first payment is optional. If you wish to make it, the minimum payment is 100 Dhs and can be made by debiting your bank card.

If you reside in Morocco: Your CIN or your residence card, as well as proof of residence (required only if your residential address is different from the address on your identification document), will be requested. 

A school certificate will be requested if you are a student. If you are a Moroccan residing abroad: Your CIN; your identification document from the country of residence (residence permit, passport from the country of residence, or identity card from the country of residence), as well as proof of address, will be requested.
