All you need is to be a non-exporting company, a microcredit association or an officially recognised non-profit organisation, a professional cooperative / federation as well as any individual working as a licensed professional. To be eligible, you must have a current account at BANK OF AFRICA, but not hold an account in convertible dirhams or in foreign currencies.

The foreign currency account is funded directly via your current account in Dirhams, according to the allocations limits determined as follows:

Companies whose corporate income tax is less than MAD 60,000, companies exempt from paying corporate income tax, companies with a tax credit and microcredit associations or associations recognized as being of public interest, Moroccan cooperatives and professional federations: up to MAD 60,000 per year
Companies subject to Corporate Taxes - Income Taxes: up to MAD 500,000 per year
Licensed professionals : up to MAD 100,000 per year
