Companies eligible for the AGRIDEV loan must have an agricultural project or activity, or operate in the agro-industry sector. They must be operating in one of the following sectors: market gardening, fruits, olives, citrus fruits, milk, cereals or meat.

AGRIDEV is intended to finance physical (buildings, equipment, etc.) and intangible investment projects (goodwill, patents, lease right, working capital requirement, etc.). These projects should support the development of business activity in the agricultural and agro-industrial sector. This concerns all projects for the modernisation of means of production, creation or extension of production capacities and projects related to the supply chain for the distribution of agricultural products.

It is a long-term loan, longer than two years. Depending on the sector concerned, the duration of the loan can range from 4 to 8 years, with a deferral of 1 to 3 years.
